cueva Pont d'en gil

La cueva Pont d'en gil.

This is one of the most famous caves in the island, located at the Northeast. The entrance is at the surface and consists of an impressive arch formed by wind polished rocks. The cave was discovered by a group of three divers in 1953. After traveling for 40 mts., two of them decided to turn back while the third one continued travelling. He was rewarded with the discovery of an amazing cavern full of stalactites and stalagmites and a fantastic light show that has made it famous.
